Oh yes… It’s coming… Make your peace with your Gods and be ye prepared.  This is going to be one hell of a storyline and I promise you all it will be chock full of kick ass action spreads courtesy of the incomparable Mr. DePugh but it will still retain all the humor and wit that you have come to enjoy over the past year.

2008 promises to be an interesting year all the way around the lot.  Who knows what delights and devastation this year shall bring.  I am all a tingle in anticipation of the moment.

Resolutions for this year?  Well… Jarrod and I made one to use our PDA functions on our phones so we can remember shit once in a great while.  And I suppose I have made one of a sort, one I hope I can keep to.  And it is this.  I shall endeavor to live as One Flash of Lightning, always and ever living in the moment.  Does this mean you stop having plans?  Not at all, it only means that you won’t allow your plans to become a crutch, a hindrance to making decisions in the moment, in the split second when opportunity makes itself known.  Prudence is a necessary part of our existence but one of the issues I had over the years, this past one being no exception, was that I let my planning get in the way of life.  I let my well laid stratagems get in the way of some things that I had truly wanted.  Had I released myself from the bondage of my own plans, I think I would have found some unlooked for respite was my reward.  Lesson learned and onward I go with my sword at my side and my sandals shod with resolve.  So I will make every attempt this year to live as the single bolt falls from the sky, embracing each moment in the possibility that it could be my last.

All this week we will be previewing “One Night Only” so look forward to that.  Then next week will be some one off humor comics and then we are off on our new adventure.  We are both really excited about this storyline and its going to set off some events to follow.  There are some things you can expect to see in the first quarter that are gonna shake things up a bit at the store and it all begins with “One Night Only”
