The Meaning of Life Two
Tuesday, November 6th, 2007
Our small departure continues with the second of six meaning of life comics. Enjoy it.
I figure that while we are sharing I will fill this weeks blogs with verses I have penned. If you’re a reader of my MySpace blog you have likely read a couple of them but I will attempt to put up a few that I have yet to share else ware. This is a more recent one that has actually been made into a song, it’s called “Aspiring to Addiction”:
Aspiring to Addiction
By: Joshua Ray

Feeling like a boy
But still a grown man
So keen to enjoy
So quick to demand
Shine your beacon light
Guide me to the shore
Fly me like a kite
Draw me to the floor
Run through my veins like blood and heroin
Feel like an addict, held without the sin
Going down a champ, you rock that glass chin
Sounds like hearts breaking, play that violin
Sweet little firebrand
Light me up tonight
Toes dug in the sand
Panoramic sight
Want to draw you near
Get you once alone
Whisper in your ear
Just to make you moan
Run through my veins like blood and heroin
Feel like an addict, held without the sin
Going down a champ, you rock that glass chin
Sounds like hearts breaking, play that violin
Sweet senseless innocence never felt right
Light will cast shadow as day turns to night
Run through my veins like blood and heroin
Feel like an addict, held without the sin
Going down a champ, you rock that glass chin
Sounds like hearts breaking, play that violin
Tomorrow dear readers
